For dinner, there are several good restaurants within walking distance of the Firehouse – if you enjoy dining at one of these spots before coming to TCAN, please be sure to tell them we sent you.

MetroWest is home to luxurious hotels, affordable residences, and quaint country inns to help make your stay a relaxing and rewarding experience. Many are located within a short drive from Natick Center, providing easy access to TCAN.

Building Accessibility

  • Special Accommodations: Spaces are reserved for patrons who use wheelchairs and for their companions. When purchasing tickets, please be sure to mention if you require special accommodations, including wheelchair-accessible seating, visual or hearing impairment, limited mobility, etc.
  • Street Access: The TCAN performance space is located at street level on Summer Street, with no stairs required to enter the theatre. For the convenience of our patrons in wheelchairs, wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available. Bathrooms are located on the second floor and basement levels, both accessible by elevator.
  • Elevator Access: All three floors of the facility are accessible by elevator.
  • Parking: Designated accessible parking for any vehicle bearing valid Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) disability parking placards or license plates is available on a first-come, first-served basis. An accessible parking space is located on the west side of the Firehouse, in the lot adjacent to the building.
  • Cinema Accessibility: Closed captioning, Z-Screen subtitles, Audio Description (headphones), Assisted Listening (headphones) are available for most screenings. Please contact the box office with questions, or to request accommodations.

Parking and Transportation

TCAN is located at 14 Summer Street in Natick Center, an inviting collection of historical buildings, restaurants, retail stores and boutiques surrounding a charming community park called Natick Common.

Transportation

  • Getting to Natick Center: Located at the intersection of Routes 27 and 135, and with convenient parking and within walking distance of the Natick Center MBTA Commuter Rail Station, Natick Center and TCAN are easily accessible to visitors from across the region.

Parking

  • Street Parking: Metered parking spaces are available on Summer Street and Main Street, from 9:00AM – 5:00PM Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 9:00AM – 1:00PM. Parking is free at all other times, including all day Sunday.
  • Municipal Lots: The municipal parking lot at 20 Middlesex Ave has capacity for 100 cars, and offers free parking after 5:00PM. The lot is about 60 yards from our entry doors, within easy walking distance of TCAN.

Health & Safety

We are committed to creating a safe and healthy environment for everyone at The Center for Arts in Natick, and will ensure compliance with all local, State and Federal health requirements and mandates.

Additional Information

  • Effective March 10, 2022, all COVID-19 proof-of-vaccination requirements were suspended. For those susceptible to infection, masks are encouraged but optional for all patrons. Protocols are subject to change based on the request of a performing artist, or updated guidance from local health authorities.
  • Everyone is welcome and encouraged to wear a well-fitted mask that fully covers their nose and mouth at all times within our venues. While masking is optional and no longer required, we recommend wearing an N95, KN95, or KF94 mask, or double-masking.
  • While vaccinations and testing are no longer generally required for admission, certain events may require proof of a negative test result or vaccination. More information will be shared about this requirement in the process of purchasing tickets for specific events.
  • If you or someone in your party is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (such as fever, a sore throat, chills, cough, shortness of breath, congestion, nausea, or vomiting) at the time of your event, we ask that you stay at home. Active TCAN members with exchange privileges may exchange tickets for a future event with some restrictions.
