An evening of Songs & Stories featuring AZTEC TWO-STEP with Tony Traguardo narrating

When Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman, the critically acclaimed duo Aztec Two-Step, burst on the scene in 1972 with their Elektra Records debut, they were often reviewed as having the “intellectual lyricism” and “ethereal harmonies” of their legendary predecessors Simon & Garfunkel. Renowned for helping to usher the folk-rock music of the 1960s into the '70s and beyond, Aztec Two-Step continues to be one of acoustic music's most beloved and enduring acts. While the duo possesses a rich musical legacy of their own, here they masterfully interpret and perform the timeless songs and harmonies of Simon & Garfunkel.

The compelling and entertaining multimedia music event celebrates Simon & Garfunkel's iconic contribution to Pop Culture and beyond. The music speaks for itself. The storyline of the Songbook show was originally created by the late great pioneer of progressive FM radio and author, Pete Fornatale. Now mc'ing the show and featured on narration, along with creating The Songbook’s slideshow, is Fornatale's protégé, WCWP DJ and Long Island Hall of Fame co-founder Tony Traguardo. Laughter and nostalgia abound, and a sing-a- long is always in the mix.
