5:30pm
$35 incl. pre-concert cocktail party

A special Feels like Home benefit concert featuring Boston based singer-songwriter Laura Vecchione, a sultry, soulful performer whose music has been described as "gutsy, soulful, hard-driving R&B, bluesy, edge-of-country style." The concert will take place at The Center for the Arts in Natick (TCAN) starting with a 5:30 pm reception, followed by a full band performance at 7:00pm. All proceeds from the event will benefit Family Promise Metrowest, a community response to family homelessness.

Tickets for the concert are available now for $35 at www.familypromisemetrowest.org or www.concertsfromtheheart.com

On the tails of last year’s sold out event, Concerts From The Heart is again partnering with Family Promise Metrowest to merge music with a mission. Laura Vecchione, who has recorded with multi-Grammy-award winning producers and has had her songs featured on national radio and television, together with Adonis Martin (piano), Raleigh Green (guitar), Richard Gates (bass), Jamaal Shoffner (drums), and Dionne Shoffner (background and accompanying vocals) will deliver an uplifting and inspiring performance.

“Last year, Laura’s ability to weave our mission with her own personal storytelling had a visible impact on the audience,” said Carole Broderick, Director of Development at Family Promise Metrowest. “Not only did we sell out 250 tickets, but we received additional donations at the end of the night.”

Authentic and kind, Laura feels she has a responsibility to give back to the community. “I am beyond impressed by how much Family Promise Metrowest does to address the issue of family homelessness,” said Laura Vecchione. “I am honored and humbled to bring a diverse group of musicians to the stage to raise awareness and funds for this phenomenal organization.”

Family Promise Metrowest is a local nonprofit that empowers families to move from homelessness to independence. With 50 local congregations, over 3000 volunteers, and support from the community, Family Promise provides shelter, meals, job assistance, and professional case management to families in crisis. Most recently, Family Promise purchased a new building in Natick for its families and staff and launched a LIFE program for eviction prevention.

Concerts From The Heart was founded in 2017 by Laura Vecchione and Sylvia Haber to bring meaningful music programming to the fundraising efforts of non-profit organizations in an effort to cultivate awareness, build community, raise funds, and promote positive change while delivering story-driven music and entertainment.
