TCAN Plans Move To New Ticketing System


TCAN is pleased to announce an upgrade to a new ticketing system for all events, classes, membership and donations.

Patron Technology, a web-based ticketing company based in New York City, was awarded the contract and will assume responsibility for all ticket sales effective this month, with actual transition date to be announced. From that time forward all patrons and members may purchase tickets using PatronManagerCRM, which will be fully integrated with TCAN’s website at

TCAN’s current ticketing system, hosted by Choice Ticketing, is still online and will remain available until the transition is implemented.

“Choice Ticketing has served our patrons well during the first decade of our growth in Natick Center,” said David Lavalley, TCAN Executive Director, “but we needed to consider the new methods used by members and patrons to browse events and purchase tickets. We also looked for a ticketing platform that seamlessly pulled together our customer data, donor information and email marketing tools into one integrated solution.  Patron Technology was able to meet our criteria while offering a comparable ticketing fee scale to that of the current ticketing system.”

The new ticketing platform will deliver a more streamlined and easy-to-use interface on any desktop or mobile browser, for purchase of tickets, classes, membership and donations online. PatronManager provides several benefits to TCAN members including automatic member discounts, access to pre-sale opportunities, ability to view transaction history and past purchases, and the ability to update personal contact details online. Future enhancements will include print-at-home ticketing and event reminders for ticket holders.
