A tender and sweeping story about what roots us, Minari follows a Korean-American family headed by a father, Jacob (Steven Yeun) and mother Monica (Yeri Han) move to an Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream. The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother. Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.

The film earned six nominations at the 93rd Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actor for Yeun, Best Supporting Actress for Youn and Best Original Score. It also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film, was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, and earned six nominations at the 74th British Academy Film Awards, including Best Film Not in the English Language.
